UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 21st September 2023]

Did you guys forget the DDG goal where he looked like he was taking a pee at the post and let it in? Come on, rose-tinted glasses…
De Gea made I think 5 major errors leading to goals last season? Hasn't Onana made that many already? In 6 matches?

Have you not seen our defence? Give over, man.

He also had a much better time of it with his defensive line. This year it’s gone to pot for some reason.

the rules are as written, Its a world sport, why have different rules for different competitions?
The rules are the same however certain rules are open to interpretation and officials in different competitions will have different guidance as to how they interpret the rules. All competitions are being pushed towards this stricter interpretation of handball however the PL decided to relax things after everybody lost their **** at the start of the 20/21(?) season when we were getting loads of penalties.

Casemiro really looks like he's finished. Just had the ball nicked from him and barely noticed. I think we had about 15 good games from him. Typical United value signing.

Yeah, Casemiro looks like he’s aged about 20 years over the summer. Such a contrast to last season (when he wasn’t suspended)

Serious question though, what on earth has happened to Casemiro. Is it because he's more or less trying to play CM alone.
There's a reason RM let him go, they replaced him and let him continue the decline elsewhere. He's done for as an elite midfielder these days.
