No idea what's happening at the mo but askmid.com is saying no one is insured currently.

If you try to check using the AskMID site it pauses for a second, clears the box where you enter the reg and then gives you the "not currently showing as insured" message.

It's clearly a site fault rather than the database which I assume the police have a different portal for.

Exactly, it's just an issue between the site and the backend. It's not exactly saying my particular reg is uninsured.

As you say, I wouldn't worry about what the askmid website is reporting and trust the police have a more reliable lookup.

It's not a big deal to have your policy's PDF on your phone along with the 'thanks for paying/renewing' email in your favourites.
