Damaged lens cover on iPhone 12 Pro, does anyone know if Apple stores can repair / replace these? Typically I noticed today, it's happened over the weekend when I was considering a trade in.

Yep they can. Can cost upto £200 depending on model.

It’s the separate lens that has the cracked cover.

Ok thanks, will book an appointment with Apple Southampton and go from there.

I was looking at the 15 Pro, but my 12 Pro does all I need. So £200 vs £1100. I used to change every 12 months / 18 via outright purchase. Should have added AppleCare.

Looks like Apple charge £199 for rear camera and £459 for the whole back glass, so depends what they would have to replace.

Booked Friday, so will see what happens. I noticed that Apple refurbished store still sells the 12 Pro at close to £600, wow.

£489! So I’ll wait for a pro 15 or look at 14 pro via Apple refurb store.

Insurance is £200 on excess, so bugger it. Only claimed once in 15 years.

My daughter has done the same on her 12 Pro Max. How did you get the repair for £79?

Only the cover broken, so got a 3rd party to replace the glass. Used a company called device doctors. I expect insurance would have done the same.

With insurance, it’s got to be properly broken or lost for them to even bother
