28 seconds in to the video the chased vehicle and police vehicles run across the stinger. Are police tyres immune to stingers?

Nope..just bad drills, once the subject vehicle is stung the officer should pull the stinger back in. Cakes.

This, seen a few Police Stop kinda shows where they haven’t ’removed’ the stinger in time a knobbled the chasing pack

It also takes a fair amount of time to deflate the tyre, they're not an instant deflation.

This is not what I'm familiar with, I always knew them as being tubes that went through the tyre causing instant deflation.

Instant deflation would potentially be dangerous and cause the car to veer off either into pedestrians or buildings.

They're supposed to cause a slower deflation that forces the vehicle to slow down.
