after that blip and an nvidia driver update it was fine, and it was fine before on every other game , it was just robocop, ive got bored of it now anyway its not great
Hello mate, just a quick bit of backup advise 'just incase':
I had an issue like this only with Phantom Liberty, turned on my XMP profiles didn't behave at the ram speed the ram claimed, tried them at a lower mhz and still caused issues at random times, turned xmp off fully and left everything at auto at 3200mhz instead of 3600mhz (claimed by corsair) and never had an issue since. CPPL was the only game that'd do it, anywhere from 20-90mins and couldn't make it do it on demand.
If this ever happens again bare this in mind vs thinking something is faulty
@mrk saved me from RMA'ing the ram!
I know it probably was just the driver, but it just reminded me of my issue, and it hadn't happened on christ atleast 15-20+ games I'd played at the time before CP PL. At first thought it was my GPU undervolt, but wasn't etc etc, then mrk said the above, and did various memory stress testing runs and turns out he was right.
Either way if it's behaving now then happy for you. Just remember this if it plays up in the future
