Bought some Ikea cabinets to build some 'built ins' either side of our chimney breast. We were going to buy the cheaper doors but while we were in Ikea yesterday decided to go for some nicer ones at three times the price, then realised there weren't any in stock so would have to order online. That's until we looked in the bargain section and found them discounted from £48 to £3 each, just because they have a few light scratches on the inside of the door that you'll never see.
Saved us almost £150
There's a few more to build and then I'll fit them in properly and build a wooden top for them, but this is them messily placed. Also please ignore the horrible wallpaper, we will be decorating this room soon now we've finished the bedrooms.

Yeah it's pretty cool and infinitely customisable. It is on a cantilever so I can adjust - not used it in anger yet but edge of alcove is possible (y).

Part of the reason i went with a Philips OLED is that their TV comes with a built in back light that is reactive to the onscreen picture which is super cool and actually not as distracting as you’d imagine. It makes watching to in the dark much easier on the eyes.
