Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [15th - 17th December 2023]

Letter of the law isn't it. I said a couple of weeks ago that players getting sent off for two of those soft yellows would be ridiculous. There you go.

Smart by manu not going ahead so we couldn’t come back

Absolutely embarrassing from Szobo Salah Darwin Gakpo

Trent/VVD/Konate were alright and Alisson motm probably

Dalet gets a red for reminded ref that it was actually a Man U throw-in. Ref did not like it.
It's dissent isn't it. The law is if you dissent, you get a yellow. He dissented against the throw in, got a yellow. He dissented against the yellow and got another. Correct decision.

To be clear, the law is absurd, but I've made that point before and been shouted down.

Terrible result, terrible performance, terrible entertainment. Not a single one of our players had a good game there and instead every player was off their game, not sure who I could say in our team was worth anything above a 5/10

What's the time allowed between instances of dissent, and at what point does it be one two separate instances of dissent? Time to get the rule book out lads. They're making up the rules as they go along again.

He basically for 2 yellows for swearing at the ref twice in 2 seconds. If all the refs sticks to that rule a lot of games will never end with 11 men.
