Unbelievable! I got up yesterday morning and noticed my wife had left the drivers window open 3”. For 3 days as it turns out!

Car is soaked but started, windows work, etc.

What is the best trick to sort this asap?

You'll need to get a fan heater inside the car and a dehumidifier as well, which will need to be closely monitored as it will fill up quite quickly to begin with.

See a lot of cars with the windows cranked open, not sure if it's deliberate or the car is doing it. Apparently it happens with some cars.

yeah maybe a vax cleaner/hoover would get it out.

If not you will have to go old school and drill holes through the footwell floor :p.

If it's not raining, run the car turn the heaters on max and leave the window open a crack (to vent), and it'll dry itself out, if there are puddles then pale it out with a cup or whatever.

How about WE have left the car window open for three nights?

Were you so ****** after Christmas dinner that you could not raise from the couch for a walk around the estate for a couple of days. I walk past our car daily and it is an obvious check to try the door and walk around it giving the tyres a kick etc.

Man up and take some responsibility rather than slagging off the missus on tinternet.

Pretty sexist of you to suggest a woman needs a man to secure a car for her. :p

Quite right. I consider myself told!
FWIW, the orientation of my drive means I cannot glance across and see. I guess that makes me lazy with a wet backside.

A large bin bag and a blanket will keep the bum dryer whilst driving but yes there is little worse.
