Hello to all. I'm trying to burn videos to DVD. My external DVD burner is recognised, but the blank DVD-R is not. Is there away to get my PC to recognise them? I bought a number of them, so I don't really want to buy any more.
Can people please help?

Have you tried alternative software?

Are you sure the blank media you brought is supported by the drive ?

I was looking at some DVD's I burnt a while ago and there the same as the ones I'm trying to burn now. Miramax. So I have used these in the past. Any ideas please as to what went wrong?

You might have gotten a bad batch - have you tried multiple discs or just one? DVD-R quality went downhill over the last years due to low demand. You can try buying 1 disc from different brand to try, maybe Ritek or Verbatim?
