Hey all, i'm currently looking for a gaming pc that can have no problem playing modern games on high such as Baldurs gate 3 etc. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a system on here? I have low knowledge when it comes to this and worry when choosing a system. Thanks!

Does it need to be a PC that is already built, or can you build one yourself?

What is the resolution of the monitor you have, or are planning to buy?

1-1.3k I would say
Your budget is best suited for 1080p gaming so I've added a monitor and put options in the build
.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,295.99 (includes delivery: £0.00)

That's brilliant, thank you very much! So not questioning your knowledge or help just to reconfirm that this would play modern games such as BG3 on high?

Great, thank you!

The only concerns I have are the following now I'm on my PC rather than my phone:

1. Bump the RAM up to 32gb of at least 5600mhz memory over 16gb.
2. Switch to the 7800XT graphics card over the 4060ti if it's within budget.

The 7800XT is substantially faster and will last you longer for an extra £70, many games are starting to use in excess of 16GB of RAM now too thus the memory bump recommendation.

I've configured a build to show the changes I'd make:

Hopefully it does show up properly once clicked, you might go a bit over budget but it'll be worth it.

You could save £100 simply from installing Windows yourself, it's not particularly difficult but I can see why you might be unsure doing so.

The ram is 32 gb in my spec and a 2tb M2 sn 770.

PSU would be a thing I would upgrade for a quality unit.

That's fair bud and I figured that you had, I clicked and the site showed me the default build which is why I specified what I was doing on the off chance there was a problem.

OCUK crapping out Kolink trash PSU's needs to end but never will, I'd certainly call CS and ask for a solid 650w + unit instead.

I just clicked on my own build link and that gave default options as well, not good .

Hope op realises.

@Phatttitan make sure you change the options to match my choices in the build..

If you get chance please click my link and see if you get default options, tx

Thanks for the heads up all! I checked and I think it has defaulted, I'm on my phone atm but I'll check more when I'm on my laptop. Thanks again!

I removed the Samsung 1tb in my build and upped the 1tb sn 770 to 2tb sn 770 instead , but the rest is correct.

I would actually ask them to change the PSU to this it makes cost you more but is way better than the PSU supplied.

No problem.

Remove the Samsung 2tb and then it's correct unless you want the extra storage.

Also will you be installing windows yourself as that says optional ?

Brilliant, done that! And I will kinda, my dad has a copy and knows how to do it as he's done it in the past. Really, thanks for your help and everyone else too! :)
