Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 13th March 2024]

Monstrous performances on repeat from this club right now, truly in the good old days.

Sucks not to win it and some unfavourable calls. Did Pep ever win at Anfield? Covid years or something maybe?

You literally can see Doku’s foot on the ball
Could be classed as dangerous play, out of control. Kicks him chest height, its clear as they come. Touching the ball or not. Its a freekick outside the box 100% of the time.

If someone gets booted in the chest anywhere in the pitch, ball won or not you'd be expecting a foul and at minimum a yellow card.

Being unaware (how can you, he is right in front of you) that your follow through will catch someone in the chest doesn't stop it being a foul. Rough between that and the handball by arsenal dude in Anfield fixture if we're looking at the direct fixtures

Exactly. It's a foul all day. We've had some absolute stinkers this season.

Didn't Romero get sent off for getting the ball and then catching him after.

No idea. But i'm consistent with those type of challenges, don't like people being sent off or giving away pens for catching players by accident after a tackle/clearance.

Seems to be some division over that last min penalty claim, Dean seemed to think it was a pen. I wonder if it would have been more likely to be given if the earlier penalty hadnt have been given.
