Hi,
I currently have the
Team Group Dark T-Force 16GB DDR4 3200MHz (2x8)
im looking to upgrade to the
Corsair Vengeance LPX black DDR4 3600MHz (2x16)

Would I be able to use the 4 sticks of ram together even though they are of different makes?

I could get the Corsair in 3200MHz otherwise

My mobo is
MSI B450 Mortar Max DDR4.

Thank you!

Your CPU matters quite a lot if you run 4 sticks, because the newer CPUs are much more likely to handle it than e.g. a 2700X, but I do agree with mickyflinn, your life will be a lot simpler if you just... don't.

I guess the worst case is, you try it and 4 sticks doesn't work (or doesn't give you an acceptable speed), then you sell the 2x8.

FYI: AMD rate Zen 3's memory controller to 2933 with 4 single rank sticks and 2666 with 4 dual rank sticks and I'd expect less than this with Zen or Zen+.

Very much depends on the memory. If you just want to buy random RAM, install, check an option and go, then maybe. If absolute best performance is the goal 4x is the way.
