Double jeopardy, it was a genuine attempt to play the ball so if a penalty is awarded only a yellow, as it was outside it is a red as the double jeopardy rule doesn’t apply
Thats a bit of a bizarre one, a foul in the box is a more serious offence but in this instance a foul outside the box has resulted in a harsher punishment.

Not really, been in a season or 2 now, genuinely trying to get to the ball results in a penalty and yellow, no attempt to get the ball and just wiping the player out is a red and a penalty
