Interesting. If I knew this was definitely the case I would skip the 5000 series myself. At the rate I am playing games these days I won't even get though all the games I have now, let alone ones coming out that I want to play.

That said this is probably for professional crowd and we won't see it for gaming GPU's for a year after that. High probability I would end up on a 5070 or something wanting something new to play with between now and then.

Tbf I think the Ti will last you through even with 'only' 12GB of vRam I don't think it'll be pushed that often. Same for me really with the XTX and UW, I just won't have any vRam issues just a crap upscaling one :p

(which hopefully the lazy ******** fix soon!)

I most likely skip the 5000 series so it will give me a few years to be able to save up enough to afford to pay for my next GPU upgrade :cry::cry:

Or it just take me around 3 to 4 years to build up enough guts to press the buy button after seeing the prices of them

I had head it mentioned before that Nvidia were moing to a yearly cycle to make the most of the AI demands so probably true.

I hope so as easier to skip a generation and keeps things interesting in this forum.
