We have a large garden room, which was made for storage when refurbishing but since then its been doing nothing other than being a utility room and still the same store room/dumping ground which is taking up most of the space.

I'm thinking of changing into Man cave / chillout room, but I'm looking for some Ideas, help and advice on things to do, still in the very early stage, so I need some ideas and to plan a few bits out.

The walls and ceiling are already plaster and the floor is concrete, it already new has door and small windows.

The utility area will need to remain, but I'm hoping to work around that, I will need to have a way to keep storage without taking up the full areas, making most of the space, I'm hoping I can reduce the stored items plus if its used it wont be a dumping ground.

Im looking to keep the costs down

As a general point something I found revolutionary in that context was making good use of overhead (wall cabinet) storage to organise stuff.

Any suggestions or image of what you thinking ?

I had a few ideas of things like shelf, filing cabinets, I was thinking for like these https://www.amazon.co.uk/cube-unit/s?k=cube+unit https://imgs.search.brave.com/dMa-C...Y2Nh/YTE3ZjU3OWM5ODkx/OGVmMWMyYTJiMjk3/LmpwZw https://imgs.search.brave.com/Sb0XX...F4bC1n/cmV5LVAtMzU2Mjgx/LTU4ODgwMDc0XzEu/anBn
i'm just not sure of what would work best at the moment, then again I have no idea of where to start yet anyway till I clean you and put some ideas down.

A bit expensive but I went for a full set of these https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/metod-wall-cabinet-frame-wood-effect-black-90205549/#content with UTRUSTA shelves and SINARP doors ( https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/rooms/kitchen/sinarp-dark-brown-kitchen-pubd974f0aa ). More designed really for kitchens but still. There are cheaper ways to go about it but I couldn't find the style and sizes I wanted with stuff on Amazon, etc.
