Mole man - original fee and fee per mole

On the flip side, the mole(s) will be doing great things for your lawn and garden as they aerate the soil by digging through it. I'd personally just shovel up the molehill and throw the soil into a plant pot or flower border. The mole will eventually move on as the food supply depletes

Do it your self - get a swivel chair and a shotgun - wait till they put their heads up out of hump and blast it :)

If you're paying someone then I don't think its unreasonable to pay again after that time as they have to earn a living and getting rid of moles isn't an exact science as they can come from other property and generally be hard to eradicate.

I had to help get rid of loads that took up home in my parents garden and caused a right mess over a large area. We used traps and smokes for over a year but never completely eradicated them until we got so desperate up we used a ridiculous amount of petrol poured as quickly as possible through dozens of holes and then lit it from a distance. It was so effective it even blew up the runs across the garden as well but it was job done!

Not something for a small garden with nearby neighbours in case runs go into their property but that wasn't an issue. I still look back now and laugh at how we started so subtly but ended up going full Rambo!
I'd love to see a video of that, but instead I'll settle for this:

It was before the days of smart phones sadly. It didn’t blow up as bad as the gas video but did leave the ground raised along all runs.

These days the cost of 50+ gallons of petrol plus diesel we had for machinery would make that option too expensive, but them were the days!

Well the lawn was once nice and flat, and is now bumpy and patchy in loads of places. So I wouldn't call it 'great things'. And we have no problems with drainage as the soil is free draining - which is one of the reasons the moles love it so much probably.

Came to an agreement for £50 for the moler to set up again, but I'm going to look into ways to seal off the edges of the garden or sabotage the tunnel network as I'm pretty sick of them and it seems like they'll keep coming if there's an existing highway for them.

We had a mole for a few months. Just shovelled the excess dirt away.

It has since moved on.

It's not really a drama.
