I bought a PS4 Pro when it released because it's price felt fair, the performance gain seemed beneficial and the games that I played most seemed to get nice benefits (either high res or more stable performance pushing 60fps). At that time I also played a lot of PUBG Console and that game ran at a wobbly 30-40fps on base PS4 but with the PS4 Pro it much more comfortably sat closer to 60.
I really can't believe they've launched the PS5 Pro at 700 quid and even though I could probably just about justify it I'm not sure it's even worth it.
I wish we'd seen more of PSSR, if it's as good/close to as good as DLSS then it'll be interesting because anything is better than FSR2 on consoles right now.
