Just had this article https://www.theguardian.com/wellness/2024/sep/16/blue-green-viral-test-color-perception appear on my news feed, but it's quite interesting how we all perceive things differently

So the Question for GD is

"Is Turquoise blue or green?"

I've seen this on another forum and I will say the same as I did there. The 'test' is flawed due to lots of variables. different screens, colour profiles of the display device, ambient light to mention 3.

I did the test on 3 different devices and got 3 different results.

Your boundary is at hue 176, bluer than 75% of the population. For you, turquoise is green.

Yeah I did this with dark mode and with light mode and got different (very different) answers.
Did it on Gfs phone, again different answers.

This is at work on a TN panel, will run it again at home on the OLED.

Your boundary is at hue 174, just like the population median. You're a true neutral.

Its very subjective and very dependent on my screen/colorimetry setup.. before calibrating, I was 93% bluer than the rest of the population, post calibration, neutral..

Totally agree with it being subject to lots of variables - but just interesting to see what results others are getting

What do I win?
