Rear camera and USB power in van

I have the below system in my van

The rear camera worked but the way I had the camera cable running was in the way of some units so I ran it another way, however it meant it was short by about 30cm of reaching the display. I bought a cable, linked below, to extend but it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? The camera doesn't power at all.

Is this the right cable? I have never seen a cable this thin be able to provide power, as well as whatever image and audio from the camera.

And then also I'm trying to get rid of the power cable this device comes with and swap to a USBc cable that can go into something like below. The below I bought and this doesn't power the unit at all. I have it into the same cigarette lighter spot as the power cable it came with, but the above does nothing. The reason I want to swap to a different smaller charger is because I want to add USB charging else where in the van, and the unit it comes with is too big

If anyone has an suggestions for usb hubs for vehicles please suggest away.

I wired in one of these using a fuse tap (add a fuse like thing). Works fine for powering my phones, so at least it will give you two extra ports. Albeit USB A. The cables aren't very long though, so I guess you add an extension / converter if you wanted to convert to USB C, and figure out where you want them to go.

That looks like an audio cable you linked. I wouldn't expect that to deliver video or very much power, if any.

What I plan to do with my van is...

Bought a android head unit from AliExpress £320 with a camera.

Then I'm going to get the fuse piggy back and run that the single phono lead to the back of the van and fit the camera next to the reg plate light. I might even try and take the power from the light and then it will just be the one cable to the head unit.

That cable you have linked is for audio.

Thanks I've bought so wills ee of this fixes the issue of the rear camera.

Any thoughts on why the device doesn't power when I use the USB cigerette style devices I linked above?

No real idea? Maybe the cable you are using doesn't provide enough power? But usually that wouldn't be the case. Have you tried other things off that adapter? To make sure it's not something wrong with that?

Personally I hate having cables visible in the cabin, hence why I would wire directly into the fuse box and keep everything hidden, using the likes of that USB hub thing I linked earlier. I do have a 12v socket charger, but it is for emergency use only. Otherwise I'd much rather everything was hard wired.
