Is Antony ****housing here. He's one of the few players I don't mind seeing picking up an injury. Why he's on ahead of Amad is criminal
 
Antony, one of the worst signings in history for sure. Utterly horrendous.

Also the commentary - "Man Utd haven't won a game in Europe for 12 months" :o

Just a shambles everywhere you look.

Fenerbache aren't a good team. Yet again though we can't put a mediocre team away despite having chances. All you can say is, we didn't lose but that's hardly progress.
Trying to be positive - we didn't lose away to Porto or Fenerbache and you'd have to think we can win 2/3 of the next games.

No sign of any progress really, Garnacho as usual is the only bright spark in a team that look utterly clueless.

Our worst run in Europe for 41 years, but who's surprised? 1 win in 11 games.
 
Absolutely. If it was a game in the champs league group stage you’d take that before kickoff any day. However it’s not though, and Eric gets to prolong his execution a bit longer :D
 
Tough away games will always be tough away games, both teams are the kind of games you get regularly in the Champions League. A couple of years ago the eventual finalists Inter Milan only just managed to beat Porto 1-0 over the space of two legs in the CL knockouts. Suddenly pretending they're bad teams is disingenuous. The year we won the Europa League we literally lost to Fenerbache away from home.

Agreed but can we realistically expect much better with the players that started? As I said before we have a mix of old, young and cast-offs, all average at best, we don't have a VVD, a Salah, a Rodri, a Palmer.

We have Zirkzee, lol. And we bring on Antony. Mazaroui up top... ETH mastermind.

Its not a bad result in isolation. Unfortunately its not in isolation. Still no progress and I don't think there will be. Trust the process implies progress and currently at United, there is none.
