you may laugh @C Kent but to be honest that is something that could work. He gives 100% (not the best player as I have mentioned before). Amorim did say its harder to train a foward to defend but can be done. A player that runs back and defends as best he can is better than a player who doesnt run back. Why couldn't they try converting Antony into that roll?
I mean what else has United got to lose at this moment in time!
Presumably because he is ****.Why couldn't they try converting Antony into that roll?
Presumably because he is ****.
Every new regime needs a sacrificial lamb to signify things have changed - it will be Antony or Rashford - either benched or sold on.
Even if both go, do the club have the skills to find the right players...?
Everyone who ends up working with Rashford always comes out with comments like these. Reading between the lines, he's a lazy, arrogant **** and doesn't even like football.
Spot onI have a slightly different take on Rashford. He's crap, and I believe it's reached the point were a separation is in best interests of all parties.

You mean like the CEO and DoF we sacked?Amorim will improve things as he will have an identity. But the main problem is they have a mid-table squad on Champions League wages, which is an absolute scandal and should have resulted in the sacking of swathes of people long ago.
Regarding the wages and general squad, this is not Ineos fault. They have since changed a hell of a lot upstairs. I bet from now on in, the players we get and the wages they get will be more suited to Amorims project. I dont think we will end up getting the 'Utd tax' applied any more, which has been evident in the summer, with a few shrewd signings. I think all that is a thing of the past now, which is a good thing.Amorim will improve things as he will have an identity. But the main problem is they have a mid-table squad on Champions League wages, which is an absolute scandal and should have resulted in the sacking of swathes of people long ago.
I also feel that Ruben seems to be a more relaxed and approachable personality than Ten Hag ever was. Erik came across as quite an awkward character; quite uncomfortable at times. Every video I watch of Ruben being interviewed, he just oozes comfort, reassuredness, personality. He's light years ahead of Ten Hag in being able to get fans on side, I think. Also aren't Utd scoring earlier in games/halves with Ruben than we ever did with Ten Hag? It felt like we'd just play an attritional game and try to get a late winner, which only works if you can keep goals out and not have to chase 2 goals to win. I think with Ruben he'll tighten up the defence but also get the attack scoring more goals, earlier in games, making opponents have to chase for a goal, which would make a nice change for once.2 games in and you can see he has more of a plan than ETH had.
It’s really not that hard at all. I’ve seen 1 maybe 2 clips of him speaking. Yea he’s a clearly a very personable chap but ultimately I don’t really care what he has to say to Joe Public, if he’s improving the team that’s all that matters.Perhaps that's a reflection on me but it is also hard to avoid the articles and clips online
Two aint swathes. They're not the only ones who should have walked. The whole scouting network is clearly unfit for purposeYou mean like the CEO and DoF we sacked?
