Hi all

After using laptops and not building a pc since 2008 ive decided to build a lowish end gaming pc.

Asrock b650 mobo
Ryzen 7600 cpu
Nvidea 4060 or 3080(12gb) not decided yet.

My issue is the mobo has graphics onboard and the cpu also comes with useable onboard graphics which i will use until i purchase a graphics card.

When that happens I'll basically have 3 sets of graphics. How do you go about making sure only the dedicated card is used and not the mobo or cpu.

Can you totally disable them ?

Many thanks

The motherboard doesn't have onboard graphics - it just has the physical ports that the CPU's onboard graphics uses.

As soon as you plug a graphics card in and have a monitor connected to it, Windows will generally default to that for everything anyway.

FYI: make sure you don't buy a 7500F and you're good, the F has no graphics and you'd get no picture.
Yeah im going

Deepcool ch370 case
Asrock mobo as above
Ryzen 7600 cpu
Thermaltake freezer 36 cooler
32 gb corsair 6000 ddr5
750w corsair fully modular psu

I was going for a 4060 gpu but people have said a 3060/80 with 12gb ram would actually be better so i need to do some reading up

Like i say been out the pc game for ages and used laptops and consoles

When you buy your graphics card, ensure you move the cable from the motherboard to the output on the graphics card
