I think i did that when i was drunk!! Looking at it now it's a mess
Kids are back home this weekend, seems like a job for them!
Ipswich ?Decided to build my own xmas tree this year,didn't plan on it being so big so i put in the middle on my town centre.
perhaps next year i wont get so carried away with the welding torch and a few bits of scrap metal

Now that tree is a proper blast of nostalgia, lots of tinsel and proper fairy lights. I can almost smell it. Lovely!
Yeah, I still do the tree like I did when I was a kid. Only concession really to the present times are the elves (instead of a fairy) and the ornaments are definitely not traditional (funko pocket pops, I put a screw and some string on).
The other main difference is that corner when I was a kid always had the TV in it , so the tree would be at the other end of the room between my dads chair and the second arm chair.
