Cambridge Minx Min22 and X301 any good?

I've had a 201 sub and a mixture of the single/double speakers for the last decade.

They're amazing for their size, discreet little room fillers.

The doubles make great surrounds, but as a centre channel they're a bit lacking but given their diminutive size it's a to be expected trade off. Managed to work around it with level tweaks and YPAO on the amp.

Worth a demo I'd say.

Too small to output a decent frequency range. Would be OK for atmos speakers or a kids bedroom that's about it

Would recommend going for larger speakers.

Have you demo'd them? If not I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. Sure they're not going to stand up to a full range setup, but for the size they're impressive little speakers.

I'd just go for speakers that are a bit bigger. I'm not talking Klipsch Lascalas either. Something with at least 4.5" woofers- as long as high output and large room size.

Oh for sure, if I had the room/wife acceptance factor on my side then I'd have floorstanders but alas...
