Astral does look great, i actually really like the TUF cards looks wise! If i get AIB card id like to match the motherboard so its probably MSI or ASUS im leaning towards. MSI Carbon mobo and Vanguard GPU look great
 
I've come up with a new GPU that puts nVidia to shame. It uses MultiFrameGeneration x10,000,000 so there's 1 real frame then 10 million fake frames. It's a bio-organic GPU and the only extra software required is MS paint (which is FREE!!!) and gets way more frames than even the 5090. See.. 933fps with full RT!!!

Delayed 5080 reviews, AIB exclusivity on 5070Ti a bit fishy. Will see MSRP stock levels and "Actual" AIB pricing

Starting prices already hinted with placeholders..
5070: 700
5070Ti: 900
5080: 1200
5090: 2500

Can’t see any artefacts so I’m in… only willing to pay £5k for it though.

Probably due to AIB's complaining about not making much profit a while ago with a lot buying the FE's so maybe they're letting the AIB's have the Ti's to themselves?

Classic nVidia up to their old games. They know the 5080 reviews will be less than rosy, and benchmarks will be best described as "weird". Some games and settings will likely show it performing well, others will show it as struggling to do much better than 4080 Super -- and it will of course use DLSS as a crutch. It's a rather oddball spec set that was created expressely to minimize production costs and set up those who bite to repeat purchase when the mid-cycle replacement arrives. There's no way 4090 (or 4080 Super) users will touch this at £1200 if they have time to consider non-shill reviews.

I'm betting they're also delaying the 5080 reviews to allow in-pocket reviewers to massage the message.

I don't think you guys realise how revolutionary this is! It uses AI for this frame generation... Not Artificial Intelligence, but ACTUAL Intelligence (unfortunately, no Artistic Talent in that Intelligence :D ). Not only does it provide a superior product, but it's an entirely new paradigm of graphical prowess. ;)

The annoying thing is people can't even extrapolate 5080 performance from the 5090, due to them having a different die and memory bus. Launch day review embargos need to die.

If only was using GB205 wafer. How they going to keep margins high since 5080 FE will be £979? Both using GB203 die (one with lower yields) initial cost practically the same. Nvidia must have given pretty good deal on those dies to allow AIB's to reach reasonable margins.

My speculation if 5080FE/MSRP on low volume and only than AIB's making some profit.

The other thought is the margins are bad, but they AIB's can't alienate Nvidia so they have to take slim margins to keep producing the rest of the lineup.

Hang in there. I am sure you will eventually be able to get a FE. Unlikely on release though.

But who knows. At those prices there may not be as much demand as in the past. But I still think FE will be gone within minutes. Scalpers will try it on. Nothing to lose really. If they can't shift the stock they will just get a refund from nvidia.
