The 9600x is barely faster, as in 1%, than a 7600x, save some money there.

Do you need anything specific on the X670E now or in the future ? If not then its overkill for that level of CPU.

Thanks for the fast response

I was able to get the 7900 XT and the X670E for £710 which I thought was a good enough deal to spend the extra. Maybe its wasn't??

This isn't entirely correct.

It hovers depending on usage between 1% to 30%.

For gaming when you average things out it does come close to 1% but you really need to decide on what you're buying the chip for in terms of software:

There's a 19% improvement for Asseto Corsa for example, and this is with a launch review.

It seems the chips really like SIMS, and the OP apparently enjoys them.

Whether this is worth the extra £40-50 is up to the buyer, for most probably not, if I was buying for racing sims I'd absolutely spend the extra.

good point. I'd happened to watch the HUB review about 10mins prior and the 1% stuck in my brain.

Thanks All

Again I think I was Lucky and was able get the CPU for £205
Good point on the Bios - this was one area I was most worried about as I don't have access to other older CP to do the downgrade

I have all the parts apart from the Memory and the Lian Li stuff - on Pre-Order with Overclockers

Still have a ability to return these parts if there's a glaring issue or better option

Once again Many Thanks

The MSI tomahawk has bios flash button so you can update the bios without the need for another CPU.

This will help you.
