Anyways those who really want a card im pretty sure you should be able to get one, as long as your happy parting with all that cash for a GPU, that extra 30% performance is deffo needed in your life.

Why are you assuming it's 4090 owners who are wanting the 5090..?
2080TI, 3090 and 3090TI owners are the biggest target audience for the 5090
It's a placeholder, like OCUK's 25 grand.

Blindness by ignorance, there is a lot of that in this thread.
It won’t be all obviously but a lot of the market for the halo cards is the folk who buy them every generation. They’re often the biggest spenders and want to stay at the top performance wise.
Can’t see the pull being as big this time around though as the 4090 was a huge leap over the 3090ti.
