Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

I was in palantir sub $20 and sold at various points on the way up. I did the same with nvidia and started kicking myself for not just holding on, now debating chucking it all back into pltr and just not looking at it for a year as it does seem to have nvidia 2023 vibes about it.

Knowing my luck it drops like a rock

palantir to the moon 102$

hit my first 400% on the PLTR stock I still have left :D

What platform do you use?

Isn't palantir the deep gothic maga AI company that will be used to survey us all when the tech bros create their network cities?

Buy buy buy!

Another one I missed because thought market cap was overvalued compared to earnings.

Did same with Reddit, always been hesitant on Tesla too.

Market cap of 193 billion with around 800/900 million revenue per quarter. I think they cleared around 80 million profit (not sure)on quarter?

still unsure where this will go - probably massively up to annoy me further

the PE ratio must be like 550 by now.
and since it moved so much yesterday I doubt it will keep going up.

it'll probably stabilise around 100 until a big contract is announced or another earnings date

Sold my ATAI for now after another big hump today.

Some real shady **** going on with Elon's goons taking over the treasury payments system. Would not be surprised to see civil unrest soon.

I have a dilema with BA. BAE Systems.

Avg price of 1088 and was very happy closing on 1400. It's now around 1200 and has gained a bit but just seems quite lacklustre. As soon as I bail, the government will announce a small uptick in defence spending!

PLTR is good. Only a bit as was a complete FOMO.

My John Wood Group finally seems to be on the mend. Bought when it halved and it sort of halved again :D Avg price of 80 and currently trading at 67.40p!

it still is.

I don't see any other company like them, Palantir has always been america first, palantir refuses to work with anyone whos not an american ally etc.
I'm pretty sure israel had so much success against terrorists due to Palantir working with them for well over a year, probably one of the reasons UKraine lasted so long as well.
Palantir will be the ones using AI on all the satellite data and everything else when it comes to those wars.

trump must love the america first attitude if he's aware of it.

I bet if elon finds out how much palantir are getting from the gov he will claim he can do the same for 1/5 the price, and how everyone is getting ripped off.

AFAIK theres only like 5 companies with the same level of clearance as palantir

I guess the real risk is commercial companies not wanting to be involved with the "Palantir" brand, but for some reason no one kicked up a fuss yet.

there's probably videos of karp talking about wanting to burn terrorists to the ground.

Exactly same as me on all. 3 of these too.
Especially tesla
I really missed out on that one

Google shares fell after disappointing earnings. To increase their earings, they're allowing their AI to be used for weapons and surveillance tools. Is this going to complete with Palantir, which AI will be better at killing people?

Its such a shame these companies have to chase ever higher revenue all the time no matter what.

Tech stocks are over valued. Values are no longer based on fundementals. It very much feels like hype powers even the mega corps now. Those insane PEs don't matter anymore as long as people think they will grow. The money follows. Many of these billion dollar companies will never hit a 0 PE but as long as the hype is there and the growth is trickling up they just pump and pump.

You can't really look at stocks anymore same way as a decade ago.

Its an incredible psychological experiment. Do fundementals even matter anymore when "investing"?

As long as enough people perceive the SP will rise.. It will. Especially now the average Joe has access to the stock market like never before.

Just take a loom at t212 discussion boards to see how many idiots are "investing" who don't have a clue what they are doing. Even basic stuff.

The shares fell due to the rug pull by big whales.

In the run-up to earnings there are many articles pumping up the stock.

I am lazy and the cash is piling up so i figured to buy google + amazon prior to earnings, however after noticing so many articles seemingly acting as confirmation bias, i didnt buy pre-earnings.

The drop is exactly as implied volatility via options trades.

As for the earnings, lol.

Looks like people re reinvesting in Nvidia. It's starting to climb again.
I am hoping its because the claims of Deepseek were massively exaggerated and mostly unsubstantiated. If anything it should have tanked OpenAI more then it did Nvidia after all its more their direct competitor then Nvidia and DeepSeek still needs their hardware in reduced numbers or not.

Part of me just thinks its the Chinese just getting their own back on the USA, tanking the tech segment seems relatively easy for them to do. Almost like a role call in saying you might as well stop any export restrictions to us which Biden the Dems and Republicans were both onboard with. Because we can tank your markets without it anyway, and we can even tariff your critical tech companies Nvidia/Google etc without so much as a flinch.

The US won't do it though, China among others are now seen through the eyes of an adversary of all fields, but probably even more so now in AI and we're in the space race era for it now, and I don't see it changing any time soon regardless of who is in the WH.

its years behind in killing people and does google have access to satellite feeds etc ? I'm guessing no so they are already behind on training data

meanwhile palantir is probably tracking every ship in the chinese navy

palantir + anduril >>>>>>>>>>>>>> about ten miles away is google

everyone wants to invest in Anduril, but it;'s not public

Reddit : AGM / GME stock
come to mind for public manipulation

i dont think your wrong, its becoming a lot more social engineering orientated. but equally theres a lot more oppatunity for the average joe

As long as enough people perceive the SP will rise.. It will. Especially now the average Joe has access to the stock market like never before.
maybe im taking it the wrong way out of context but the only real differance is the mass public now have the ability to manipulate the markets the same way big companies do, they just need to be more organised.
in some ways thats more dangerous as the general public dont understand the full implications the same way.

Elon with Doge (Crypto, because i need to confirm which Doge it is) can have a big impact with few words. - Celebtrity status manipulation.
Trump with the Policie being introduced and sweaping Calculated? statement(s) (Greenlnd / Gaza / USPS / Cannada / Mexico Tarriffs) to name a few
