Samsung Galaxy S25 Family Thread

Anyone seen any good deals?

Thinking of getting the ultra, I've not had a contact phone for 10 years so I'm not to sure where to look for good deals.

Is Quidco and then the 3 site a good way to go? I'm already on three and out of (sim only) contract, so I'll see what deal they give me tomorrow.

Thanks for any help

What's up with s25 ultra's lackluster gaming performance

In some of these the ultra's 1% lows are half the iPhones and it's using more wattage (sometimes double the wattage of the iPhone) and running hotter

I skimmed the first video. His device is clearly locked to 60fps.

I'm not saying that the SD8 Elite would out perform the iPhone, but having the device locked to 60fps invalidates the entire comparison. Waste of time even watching it.

The second video won't load for me.

I'm not defending the SD8 Elite. It is what it is however it performs, but that video is a chocolate teapot.

Yes lots of games are locked to 60 on Samsung but look at 1% lows

And even if you say ok it's locked framerate, why is the Samsung pulling so much more power and running hotter

I couldn't get Three to match any of the deals being offered on the Samsung.com website or App.

If you buy on the website you can speak to chat and say your discount code for the phone hasn't arrived and they should send you a £100 off voucher.

On top of that you can get free Buds 3 using S25AI, and if you order through the App 10% off using APPS25.

Topcashback were offering 15% as well i think, if you buy via Samsung.

Finally, there was a trade in any S series handset in any condition and get £200 off deal as well as a £50 code going around but I think they've both just finished now.
I mention them in case they give you any leverage with chat for an additional discount code.

Do look at the Three /vodafone deals on the samsung website though, they are much better than what Three is offering direct.

Edit - i forgot to add that the preorders end in a day and so do the current deals. If you do preorder you are also eligible for a free charger and case. They will send you a review link 14 days after you receive your phone and once you leave a review they will send out the case and charger. Its a long time to wait but it's another value add if you get your order in before the 7th.

Thanks for that. Need to have a proper look when I'm on a pc. It's looking like £45 per month for the phone plus whatsoever SIM contract as well, is that how it's done now

The usual Samsung release roulette, I've seen two different codes for free Buds 3, completely removed from offer, then added automatically without any code.

£200 any condition S phone offer for a few days, myriad of other codes (PRL, PAI) including weird paid one. Just gotta roll the dice and hope got the best deal at the time.

There should be no monthly handset cost, only the line rental.

The way I did it was head to Samsung.com and select the s25 ultra, then scroll down the page and select the 3/vodafone contracts section.

I see the following deals:

S25 Ultra 512GB
600GB data
unlimited calls and texts

£45 a month £89 upfront
£42 a month £149 upfront
£39 a month £199 upfront
£38 a month £219 upfront
£34 a month £299 upfront
£24 a month £499 upfront
£17 a month £629 upfront

If you use a voucher then the upfront cost is reduced. If you trade in any eligible device then the upfront cost is reduced.

Right now you should be able to take £100 off all the upfront prices, as well as 10% if you buy using the app. As long as you have a phone that holds a charge you should also be able to get minimum of £50 trade in. If you have a more recent phone then you can get a better trade in value and reduce the up front cost even more.

As an example, if you chose the £39 per month tariff and used the £100 off voucher as well as the minimum £50 trade in the upfront cost would reduce from £199 to £49. Then another 10% in the App brings the upfront to around £44 depending on how they calculate it. So your total for a 512GB S25 Ultra would be £39 per month (price increases each april) for 24 months and £44 upfront.
No monthly handset cost.

Has anyone paid for your own postage on the trade in or is the return samsung sent ok ?
I've done it both ways. Previously special delivery, and this time with their own bag.

I would use the label and bag they give you, unless you want the extra insurance something like special delivery would provide.

When i sent mine special delivery I bagged everything up with their blue bag and used the prepaid label on that. Then I put the sealed package in the special delivery bag.

I just wanted to check samsung is ok, I would not want it to go missing, so just wanted to check how others have found it.

I think they use Parcelforce 48 or something like that, with tracking and insurance up to £100.
I was happy to use it and I didn't have any problems.

I used all the postage & bag Samsung provided.

I sent on Monday this week, Phone got there on Tuesday & today I had confirmation that my Trade-In has been accepted & the transaction is now closed.

All very painless really.

I used a diff box and sent it via Special Delivery with all the relevant details on the label and included the pre paid one inside with my trade in.

Cost £10.50

The phone is your responsibility until it arrives safely with Samsung. That means if it gets lost or damaged in transit your only compensation will be from the delivery compensation. The prepaid bag and label won't compensate you for the full value of an S23 Ultra.

You seem unsure about it so in your shoes I would pay the difference and send it Special delivery. That way if something does happen before it arrives you will be compensated for the loss.
£10 or so is a small price to pay for peace of mind.
