I'm happy to have gone back to a much simpler car after all the 'driver aids' in the last few I've had. I even have to switch the lights on myself!

Yeah, I had an "incident" this morning where I was going down dual carriageway, with parking off the side (only a 30mph limit). As I'm away to pass a parked van a guy jumps out the drivers door, so I just go to glide into the overtaking lane. The bloody lane assist decides it wants to steer me back into the inside lane. Going to see if I can just permanantly disable it.
I had a car that had the adaptive cruise control but it also had the feature where it could set your speed to the limit using Traffic Sign Recognition.... On the motorway doing the 70MPH and I pass an off-ramp which had pretty large 40MPH signs on it. The car decides this is the new speed limit and rapidly slows down
Didn't use that feature ever again

I had to report a potential drunk driver on my way back on M6. Police said they can't do much if I didn't have the reg number. Regardless, gave them the description of the car and said all the lights including front and rear fogs are on. If your patrol does see that car please check them.
It would be really sad if they end up in an accident and cause someone else or themselves any harm with that kind of driving. So did the needful.
I don't know if it was the right call but I erred on the side of caution. Friday, late in the evening, weaving within the lane and generally driving slow (<50 in a 70) on a clear road whilst having all lights On just didn't sit well. Also, they panicked when I overtook them on the double lane slip road as they came on the line as I was passing by. Gave a gentle beep where they swerved back in their own lane. The slip road after exiting M62 to take M6 South.
P.S.- I believe the reg is needed for the ANPR. I will be mindful to note it in a similar instance in the future. I was perhaps more focused on keeping my distance behind them and being safe.

If you have a dashcam repeat the number plate out loud a couple of times so as to have a note of it even if the dashcam doesn't get a clear image of it. Always the right thing to call these in in my opinion but the police these days only seem to be interested if you have either dashcam footage and/or reg and description.

I see them in car parks or at the roadside, fiddling with their phone or something.
You're in reverse and the white light at the back of your car is indicating that you're about to reverse.

What annoys me more is when I'm reversing out of a parking spot (I need boot access) and I've slowly started moving then some muppet will just walk straight across the rear of the car as if the retina burning (even in daylight) LED reverse lights weren't a clue.

Saw a really bad example of how not to drive (or behave) yesterday. Leaving Elgin to head home (30 zone) there is a roundabout at the top. There is excellent visibility on and across the roundabout so there is no excuse for what happened. There was a woman a few cars in front of me driving a red Pug who had been weaving all over the place on the way up the hill. Approaching the roundabout I saw a white Dacia already crossing the roundabout and heading for her third exit, we would have been exit one. The bint in the red Pug didn't even brake and shot out straight into the side of the Dacia putting a huge dent in both left hand doors, the B pillar and the rear of the car hitting it so hard it pushed it towards the center of the roundabout. She then got out and started screaming at the Dacia driver exclaiming that it was her fault. At this outburst the woman driving the Dacia started crying. She was probably already upset that her children in the back were crying and probably terrified after such a big impact. A couple of the drivers behind her were out of their cars checking that everyone was ok and tried to shut the woman up. The two guys moved their cars out of the way so that others could carefully get past. I stopped and asked if they wanted my details but they said no as the chap directly behind her had it all on his dashcam including the fact she was on her phone up the hill and shooting onto the roundabout and that he had called the police. The woman in the red Pug even had kids in the back!! Hopefully she will be losing her licence for a while. I have seen some bad driving but that was just shocking.

While I won't comment on what other people do I would point out here that pedestrians always have right of way (the most vulnerable road user) so you are actually required to give way to them.

If I'm walking through a car park, where I know there will be cars moving and I see one that has reverse lights on that will intersect my path, I slow/stop, make sure the driver has seen me.
Too many people walk around these days with 'main character' egos.

I don't disagree, but I also see a LOT of drivers with the same problem. As far as they are concerned they are the most important people in the world and everyone else should get out of their way or get hit. Everyone needs to be sensible but sadly there are too many people, vehicle users and pedestrians alike, that are just ignorant and inconsiderate. The 2022 change to the Highway Code was supposed to make it clearer to everyone that pedestrians had right of way in most circumstances but sadly drivers still seem unaware of this, or just don't care.

Most people seem unaware of uncaring of the changes but they are also not done in a good way and marginalise that sometimes it isn't a good place for drivers to give way to others on the hierarchy despite mostly being a suggestion, ultimately it needs pedestrians to be employing good implementation of checking themselves if it is safe and working with traffic.
Unless I don't see them, I always give way to pedestrians crossing across the minor road junction as I expect that to happen to me when I am walking... Still didnt prevent a dozy old woman decide to turn into to the road, whilst I was already halfway across, and drive right at me where I had to jump out the way
Had I not been taken so unaware (bearing in mind I was already crossing the road seconds before she got to the junction), I would have struck her window with my hand, you know, to make her aware I was there.... Then again, that may be frowned upon by certain people in here
