I had my eyes tested at specsavers today and need reading glasses and driving glasses. I said I'd take my prescription and get elsewhere, but when got home realised my prescription only had one set of numbers on it. Which I believe is for 1 pair? Bit confused

I get my glasses from Specsavers but you can probably buy cheaper online if you are willing to first get the frame delivered to try on.

Peculiar 1st post :p

I get mine online and have done for a few years, Glassesdirect are good ime.

Specsavers are amazing. Referred me directly to a hospital ophthalmologist avoiding a long wait in A & E and getting the correct treatment quickly.

Support Specsavers.

Wouldn't surprise me to find they've also deliberately not written down some elements of your prescription so it's a pain to order online - pupil distance is a common one IIRC.

Yep, no pupil distance on my Specsavers prescription.

5 mins standing at a mirror with a ruler sorted that out :)

Show us the prescription - does it had values beside ADD? If so, that's your reading prescription.

I wouldn't order separate distance and reading glasses, I'd just go varifocals, especially if this will be the first time you are wearing glasses.
