Sounds like paid actors, the real question is price always.they did the big question and answer on twitter what do "You" want from RDNA 4 and the overwhelming response was stock availability

There is no production issues for stock at all, only if you intentionally withhold production like Nvidia did for the 5000 series.

What with NVIDIA inflating their prices I can’t see the 9070xt AIBs being cheaper than £700-£800 especially once retailers have added their bit on like we are seeing.
Have been thinking exactly the same. I'm wanting to upgrade from my 3070 card, and was looking towards waiting for the 5070Ti (in order to get the extra VRAM). But I might make the switch back to AMD if the performance and price is a better combo. After witnessing the 5000 series I have no loyalty I will buy MSRP where it's available I'll not be pre-scalped I'm patient. I'd prefer to buy from OCUK but im not going to be bent over.
We needn't pretend they aren't working together for the price hikes. Out of the three companies giving us GPUs, I think only Intel isn't at the table of price-fixing, and that's only because they haven't released something good enough yet. What with NVIDIA inflating their prices I can’t see the 9070xt AIBs being cheaper than £700-£800 especially once retailers have added their bit on like we are seeing.
Surprisingly good. I'm playing a bit of Once Human atm and everything is buttery smooth which I didn't expect. Sure settings aren't maxed but running it 3440x1440 with FSR quality and pushing 100+ fps at all time. No blurry mess just clean acceptable graphics. Also tried a bit of Dying Light 2. Same thing. Mostly high settings at 3440x1440 with FSR 2 on quality and pushing around 70-100 fps.going by your sig you got one how is it
I am looking at the timespy extreme estimate of 14,500 for the Asus 9070XT at stock, looking at the 330 watt limit and thinking - yep thats a fast card that is like a 4080 but not really too power hungry.I just hope all the AMD fans, try looking at absolute numbers, just not relative to Nvidia.
I saw Jayz video over the weekend and the 5090 was pulling 737watts which is wild! And so it begins, the melting connectors on 5090 are coming to light on Reddit.
The rumor is that 5070ti is going to be short on supply as well. So £749 MSRP could be £900 street price.
So we'll have 5080 at £1,200, 5070Ti at £900. Where does 9070 XT fit in? I think £700 is maximum, but even that is unappealing.
I would say just buy a 7900XTX instead, but they're out of stock. If NVIDIA and AMD continue the practice of stopping production 6+ months before each new gen, then I think there's not much hope of prices ever going down. In fact, they could just keep the production of cards low indefinitely for higher profits, like crude oil/OPEC![]()
How much is 7900XTX ? Doesn't really appeal to me , with RDNA 4 now having hardware upscaling and RT seems to be big jump while using less power
That’s why I think the cards won’t be as cheap as people are trying to make out. If the 7900XTX isn’t available anymore and the new card is close and beats it in RT, they may just price is the same around the £800-£1000 mark. How much is 7900XTX ?
