*** Official Ubiquiti Discussion Thread ***

I’ve been holding out for a wall 7 pro, however a u6 wall enterprise has popped up for 140. Any thoughts?

7 is better than 6

But the choice comes down to your own usage and devices. How many Wi-Fi 7 devices do you have etc.

I've just gone from U6 lite to U7 Pro, not because I need to speed but because I slightly test wireless devices. So it is handy having the new standard-ish.

I also have some Ubiquiti keystones (UACC-Keystone-Coupler-C6) but no one wants a picture of that

I've just ordered another UniFi UCG-Ultra, this time for a 900/900 Toob connection IPV4 is CGNAT and IPV6. No other requirements such as port forwarding etc. Hopefully all good for the 900/900 connection, the last one I ordered was for sister in-law on a Virgin 350/35 connection and that's been solid.

It's replacing a pfsense CE install at my folks, only thing I'll need to setup is the S2S IPSec VPN for Synology NAS replication. S2S is between pfsense+ / Sophos XG Home

Why did you get fancy dust covers??

Mini Rack sitting on top of a 12U rack! And yeah I need to dust but meh!
Everything looks neat and tidy in that 10" rack, it seems much better than the 3D printed solution I was considering to tidy the Unifi equipment. Would you mind telling me what make the rack is? I've been reading about 10" racks and apparently there's no official standard so parts from different manufacturers might not work together.

So with SuperLink, is UI offering something that could be used for a home alarm system or still more business-focussed? I'm looking to replace mine soon and it would be nice to have something within Protect but I don't know a lot about that and worry it will be many £££.

I would guess it's designed more for warehouse monitoring, it looks pretty clunky if you're trying to create a home intruder alarm out of it.
