Solar panel production figures

A very good day, the best day of the year so far, with a little less cloud in the morning we would have made 30 kWh.

SolarEdge: 10.9 kWh
Garage: 7.1 kWh
North west roof: 5.75 kWh
House rear wall: 5.52 kWh
Peak power was 6.31 kW at 10:12

Total generated today: 29.27 kWh
Total exported today: 32.1 kWh
Total imported today: 30.44 kWh

I've been looking at solar and battery storage. The more I look though it's doesn't seem worth it to me to have panels, I have a quote for a Tesla Powerwall 3 with extra battery pack and 30 450w panels which came in at £25k. Looking at solar production though it seems that that system would struggle to make over 1.5kw a day in winter months. Certainly no need for 26kw of storage. I'm now thinking it might be better to get some Sigenergy batteries and store energy off peak for use at peak hours. For context we use 30-38kw a day in winter and just slightly less in the summer.
Are you guys who have paid for solar actually really happy with the performance and any suggestions with regard how I'm looking at this?

P.S. £25k for 30 panels and 2 power walls is a joke of a price, they certainly saw your coming. Sig energy is typically more expensive than that. Someone in the above thread was just quoted £13k for 30 panels, 10kw hybrid inverter and 20kwh of storage - basically half the price of your quote and only missing 7kwh of battery storage.

P.P.S. You'll certainly generate more than 1.5kwh/day with 30 panels in winter, that is a large system.

Thanks, the quote was from Heatable and was rather more than expected.

Well you're looking at one of the most expensive energy storage system out there, plenty of cheaper options now.

As for is it worth it? Absolutely. My electricity bill doesn't exist anymore, it's negative. With your very large usage of units you have the potential to save yourself a fortune. If you not planning on a house move it's a no brainer really. Solar is a buyers market right now, no need to go for the big outlets like heatable.

Not such a good day, but not bad considering, certainly won't be negative as I charged the car :D
