New Dishwasher… I cannot quite put my finger on what caused the previous one to fail but it can’t be down to all those Chicken Pathia’s as I usually lick the plates clean before loading it up

If your missus is anything like mine it will take you years to impress upon her that dishwashes clean dishes, they don't scrape food off the plates into the bin and you can't just stick everything in there.

You can use it how you prefer I guess but if you are doing to do what you are doing there, there are more tidier solution like the Govee light strip for £20 which does both normal light and full RGB if you want. Controlled by a physical button or the app on the phone.

One thing I would say is due to the curve monitor, you will get light spill to the screen as a result with a straight light bar unless you point it at and angle that doesn't but then you risk pointing a light directly into the eye which is not good.

Yeah Govee strips are an option but this does offer the adaptability option too, want to use it to shine light on the desk for working one night? Easy just move it, Want to use it rear lit only? Easy just move it back etc.

I'll give it some time to see how it goes but at least now I know what they are like.

Got the Sparkos discreet OpAmps today from the USA, these should noticeably enhance my amp's audio dynamics going by reviews, although am happy with the ones I currently have in there, but if they are not to my liking can sell them on for not much loss.

The dishwasher is a prime source of stress for me. No-one else can be bothered to load it correctly. Everyone else just throws things in there randomly while I have to rearrange it all to fit like a Tetris puzzle so we can fit everything in. Recently I've given up and just leave it a mess inside. Screw them :D

£27 quid brand new .... bargain .... gone up to £60 now which is quite frankly a rip off

She’s terrible for chucking anything in it :o Any time she’s been near it I have to give the filter some TLC.

She always manages to out do herself in how poorly a dish washer can be filled, something always falls and 3/4 items are positioned in such a way nothing else will fit!

I’m glad it’s not only me who experiences this, I have to re-arrange and she eye rolls and says I have OCD

Having one that is Slimline only makes things worse.

Mine spent ages believing it will magically remove all food waste if just thrown in and now suffers from the lack of rinse syndrome and then moans when that plate comes out with as hard as diamond stains...

4 x new Bridgestone tyres for the car at £375 fitted. Going to be an expensive week as service and MOT due on Monday :(

Still quite a bit of tread on the rears, but they are 8 years old now (original tyres) and starting to show signs of perishing.

That looks like the one I have which held up even a 26KG bike!

Got a new keycap for ESC from Etsy, no reason just wanted one and I like space stuff so...

The previous one was a lump from aldi that could hold my DH bike with ease.
This one was a sale from Planet X and looks similar to the previous, but better built.
Will build soon and compare.
