Show Us Your Motors!

Yes, unfortunately!

I worked at JLR 15 years ago and I worked on the F-Type (V6 and V8) - the i4 was after my time. Wonderful cars - my favourite was the V6S manual, which is really rare (maybe <5% of all F-Type sales?). Unfortunately, the last facelift ruined the looks for me but I am sure the essence of the car survived. Loved it. The Project 7 was a real treat to drive!

I worked on MY16 so we took HPAS out, lifted the engine and changed the body to fit AWD transfer and also the changes in cabin for the manual, the buck actually had my s2000 gearknob in as a trial… I did never get to drive a manual but I heard the BMW derived unit wasn’t particularly good to change gear in.

It's very ood with the F-Type. Press were all over it, all ,bar none and including Clarkson, raved about the V6S manual. How does that not resolve into sales?
I'm sticking with my XK (pics will follow when I next give it a good clean and McG's ultimate), prices are starting to rise but wild horses wouldn't prompt me to sell. Best GT Jag ever made.

Edited to add that I've read the entire thread over the last couple of months and it's been a hoot.
My Fav 2 cars were/are Gibbo's 458 and akagi's Touring.

I assume it’s simply because nobody wanted to own a Jag, whether that’s related to reliability or the old man image. They couldn’t shift the volume required.

2 seaters impractical sports cars don't fit into many peoples lives I'd imagine more to the point and if it did is Jag your first point of call?

So the Z3, Z4, R8,R10 etc would also fall into that category?
I'm not knocking having a 2 seater, I have an Mx5 :o, just saying that the Jag is not a first choice for a pricey sportscar. it's a small market and doesn't have the prestige of other marques IMO, not sure those BMW or Audi do either, no doubt other opinions will vary and that is OK, though I will say hooning the Z4 around on the ice lakes running lappis earlier in the month was bloody awesome, great machine, what an experience. Think pretty much everyone in the group was scouring AT for one after that :D

The Cupra was filthy, and it had white stuff around the tyres where they had fitted the new Continental Sport Contact 7’s. I also used my underbody roller pressure washer attachment too. I’ll do the Kia tomorrow!

It’s a MY24 310PS but with an ABT tune taking it to 370PS from the factory. 7 Speed DSG. It’s a VZN, so the flagship whereby the only optional extra was this colour. Mountain Green I think it’s called. Sometimes it looks grey. This colour was only available on the VZN. I believe there’s only 25 in the UK.

Yeah 458 was so good I kept it five years, still in touch with new owner and he loves it but rarely drives it whereas I did around 15,000 miles in it. :D

Suspension looks to have collapsed on the passenger side of the E30.

Was changing manifold gaskets, hence one side in the air. ;)

Blimey down to only 5 cars Gibbo :p

I know, Mrs set me a challenge, don't sell any and don't buy any more this year. :D
Funny thing is she says this and she has just gone and bought a car which were collecting this weekend and be prepared, your gonna be shocked, its an EV.
