*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Yes, i think AMD got this one right, great card, great price, i hope AMD get their deserved rewards for this, i hope this is the start of AMD's Ryzen in the GPU space.
will be the first time I've had an all RED pc for ages
Ok will do. Is it not worth the uplift then?
only reason why you should is if you see any RT titles in your future and the upscaler is much better

5070ti is pretty much minimum of £800 at the moment so you are looking at almost 40% more. I fail to see the appeal when the 5070ti can't really provide top class performance in heavy ray tracing games either. Above that is a pointless comparison even the 5070ti is in another price bracket at the moment.
If someone is on the fence and buys Nvidia then they were never really on the fence.

The only reason to buy Nvidia is you need non gaming features or you are shopping at a performance level that AMD doesn't cover.

Agree I seen some posters on here bought the Ti for well over £900.

I was heavily, but based on HU review, 10% drop at 4k is a tough pill to swallow... I was hoping for <=5%. Just about to watch DF FSR4 review, see if that changes my mind.

Bare in mind FSR4 is coming to 7000 series, AMD haven't given a date yet though as they want to show off the 9000 series, So something to consider.

All in all, not a bad result, and much more competitive than the sewer sludge that was RDNA 3 but probably still not quite as good as RDNA 2 - actually, nowhere near. The interesting part to watch will be the prices, as that's what's going to make or break this generation. Hopefully they booked a lot of volume for early this year because Nvidia has clearly left an opening. Later on though, that's going to be tough.

Nothing of any great surprise in the reviews I've seen. I'll try for a Pulse tomorrow, but I'm still pessimistic at stock vs demand. If I don't get one then I might look to holding out for the next generation, but I don't expect the market to get any better. The world has moved on along with the days of reasonably priced graphics cards. Maybe if there were more chip fabs in the world it would help, but you can't throw those things up overnight.
