As much as it hurts the 9070 XT is not the card you are looking for. 20% faster and maybe 10% RT will be underwhelming. I might bite to upgrade my son’s 7900XT for the significant RT uplift because the price is at least good.

My real hope was to upgrade my 4080 to a 5080 that was about 4090 performance for £960. Then my son would have the 4080. Oh well, thanks for nothing Nvidia :)

I think that's what a lot of people were expecting/hoping for with the 5080 - giving you a 4090 level of performance for that price.

I'm still unsure on grabbing a 9070XT, I like my 7900XT a lot and the only reason I'd be picking one up is because of the FSR4 improvements. Depends on how much I'd be able to sell the 7900XT for as well!

Exactly. My only options are a 5090 which is too expensive or a 5080 if I can bag an Fe model.
Isn't fsr4 coming to the 7900 series soon?

Going to try and grab one of these, should be a big improvement over the 2080ti!!

Choices choices tho! Would prefer a MSRP one but which one looks better?
 
MSRP and a monster hunter code would have been sweet, I imagine in a few months that is what will happen. going to sell themselves, dont need a game code at launch I guess.

I'm in exactly the same boat 2080ti Hybrid, I'm going to try and grab the pulse, as it half the UK by the looks of things :D

I remember ages ago during the mining boom when Gibbo provided a link to forum members which allowed us to buy a card without it being on the main site. I think it was posted in the members market so only active members had access. I hope he does something this time too.

I don't think there'll be a price cut, instead the XT will go up.
