and your situation isn't unique. i'm still on a vega64 and will remain on that until such times as it dies or i can replace it at a price point i am happy with. but i'm most certainly not going to get all worked up about not being able to pick a new one up right this moment. you've been around long enough to know that gpu launches are usually a catastrophe the past few years, coupled with ocuk's ineptitude/false promises at each launch then what happened today really should not be a shock to you.I have been 4 years on this card and now it's becoming an issue to run stuff. So as this point,I will have to just avoid more and more titles.
If SuBo had a PCIe slot and could crank out 100fps I'd happily stick her in my caseThat's a defeatist attitude! Ain't over till the fat lady sings.
@Gibbo how about with the next MSRP drop you setup some sort of system where forum members get priority? like giving forum members a time slot where only they can buy cards.![]()
why they don't allow forum members some kind of grace I have no idea
I see there is no stock left but I am just keeping my fingers crossed on this page:
There IS stock left (depending on what you ordered) the entire stock was not listed at 2PM, he is staggering it. Still gonna be hard, but possibleAs people need to drive home from work etc, the load might ease up.
why would they go to any effort when the cards will sell anyway? y'all need to stop thinking gibbo and ocuk are your mates. they are here to fleece you every bit as much as AMD or NV......more so in fact.why they don't allow forum members some kind of grace I have no idea
Well I'm only interested if the price is at msrp. Anything over £600 and they can keep them.
Because technically it's not that easy to do, the simplest way would be to post a link on the members market under a new url, but even that is no use if nobody can access the website (and of course people will leak the url too)why they don't allow forum members some kind of grace I have no idea
That means it's out of stock. The top of my cart is now showing: "Maximum weight exceeded". Odd!
called business, sell to whoever has the cashWhat's the point in a queue if you just let everyone in for a free for all after 1 minute...
