• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

If Gibbo did what he said and only listed 100 of the XT pulse for sale, there should still be hundreds left in the warehouse. Just not listed yet, and he did say he would release more at 3PM and 5PM (at msrp) although I expect those times to be changed now, due to the website being down.

OC at this very moment :D

Because unfortunately there is always someone here who "leaks" out member discount codes etc to HotUKDeals etc and ruins it for genuine members who want them

If the code is provided last second, there isn't enough time for a deals site to feed in traffic before its sold out anyway. Also it didnt happen for the 3050.

Unfortunately, that's because it's not good for business and would drive potential customers to competitors if they got wind of it.
They've driven people to competitors themselves because their competitors at least have working websites.

I'm still in the queue for OCUK for the giggles and it now says "we are unable to estimate the wait time"

I was after a Nitro, so was already expecting to pay £700. Spent an hour trying to order after being on the OcUK site logged in and prepared since this morning. Can't have been far off being one of the first to have the Nitro+ in my basket, after adding it just as it went to preorder available, but since then ended up putting order through after an hour between cart and checkout/address at a rival for £730.

The extra £30 is worth it if I end up actually getting the card; albeit I'd still rather deal with OCUK for support/warranty, so if the website starts working again shortly I'll shift my order.

Does make it that bit closer to 5070TI pricing, but with the info they're not going to get any more common this year, and they're regularly priced between 800-1000, I've made my piece, especially as the Nitro is one of the better cards.

Funnily enough the card payment system at the rival had already given up the ghost, but Paypal worked, and have order confirmation in hand already.
