So after almost 2 hours messing about it seems my order is screwed with max weight message givven and no way to proceed.

we dont know... it was originally mentioned they would be sold in batches of 100 offs, with gaps between them, over today and tomorrow. But, with it now coming up to 2hrs since 2pm, who knows how many batches have gone, or if the web-crashing has screwed with this intention

How do these things even work. Like, for some people it just never loads anything for hours, but for some they manage to get through the whole checkout process and order one..?

I had the pre-order in my basket, now it's disappeared and I can't add it back on the product page. The pre-order button just whirls round for a minute then nothing.

Not sure who I am more annoyed by

The manufacturers for not making enough product
The retailers for not doing enough to stop scalpers
The scalpers for using bots to buy up all the stock and crash the retailers websites
The people paying overinflated prices to the scalpers
Or me for wasting an afternoon trying to buy a GPU with reasonable price to performance in 2025

The other 4 letter company sold out in less then 5 mins or so, i didnt even refresh to they were all gone
