Finally it went through!!! Bought the Hellhound 9070xt which has been in my basket since 1415. I had to change the payment method from amazon pay to my crdit card.
Once i have the email confirmation all i have to do is cancel the Gigabyte card i ordered from amazon
 
Surely, stop new registration x days before....no 'quick check-out', must login etc
I was trying since a couple of minutes after two and the site continually kicked me out, only managed to get a GPU in the basket......now I have a three hour wait?
Can't help but feel I've been played.
once its in the basket it will be out of stock, even though the main screen shows it as in stock !
 
Wow, we can never have nice things. It is either bad availability, or ocUK website **** the bed :D
2h+ in and website is still half broken, checking out for an hour now
 
FAO OCUK - can someone confirm if any of those cards will still be released today or are they all OOS?

Yup, had a pulse in basket since you could add them.

Been nothing but queues, hanging, 3 minute wait, crashes, queue, wait queue, blah, blah -now a four hour wait.
 
Don't keep pressing refresh.
I don't work in IT and I don't host the website, it is not my area of expertise.

I'd suggest everyone gives up for 10-15 minutes and tries again later.

Did just that and Cloudflare just advised me my wait time will be 4 hours. Wow.

Is that the response you are giving to represent overclockers UK to your loyal customers? You had 2 hours to prepare a response and this is it? Downplaying the issue and defensively announcing that you do not work in IT nor host the website?
As the face of the business you have a duty of care on here when you communicate and I'm afraid to say that your response is extremely disappointing to read. Why can you or somebody not address our concerns as to why this keeps happening every time a product is launched? Are OCUK not interested in reputation or loss of revenue?
