I've done for OC I'm afraid. I'm going elsewhere to the more consistent competitor in future. I think the "ramp the price up after selling a few hundred" approach is wrong and I won't entertain it next time. I've got a steel legend but it was ramped up after they'd sold the first 10 so ended up paying well over MSRP for a non overclocked card. To be honest I didn't realise at the time but I'm very miffed I didn't look as I didn't expect that. I just saw the first card I'd tried to get was in stock so I added it and tried to get it through checkout as fast as possible.

Is there no way for shops to stop bots/sniping? Surely something can be put in place to make using them difficult.

there basically aren't any in the UK. they all sold out way quicker than OC and probably had way less stock to begin with.

there needs to be a reservation system. I had the "Pay Now" button for FOUR different skus. 4 that I ideally would have liked to have paid money for, but instead I come away from the whole situation feeling like a mug and very much wishing I could kick this website in the shins.
