You've got Nvidia the monopoly and AMD whose there to give the illusion of competition but is really just piggybacking off Nvidia.

5070/9070/9070XT/5070ti are all 60 class cards being sold at double the price.

The 5070ti is a cut down 580 so is a true 70 class card of course the real price is stupid.

Isn’t a 5080 really a 5070 so a 5070ti is really a 5060ti? Are we all creaming ourselves for a 9070XT which is a 60ti class card for nearly £600 (fake msrp)? OMG how the market has changed since 2020.

What a disaster that was. Like everyone else I was on the site at 2pm hitting F5, then 504. After half an hour or so I managed to add a Nitro+ to basket then got 504 every time I went to pay. Gave up. Tried on my phone 2 hours later, got onto site. Basket empty. But it let me add the card and pay. Just got the confirmation email. So yaaay, I suppose. But it really shouldn't be this hard.

The 9070 seems more impressive to me than the XT. The power draw is vastly better, way more efficient. If they were £499 they would be THE card of the year IMO.

I'm sure I watched or read a review where they undervolted an XT (might have been Tech Yes City on YT) and increased performance while reducing power draw quite a bit.

Sapphire wise they had over 1k of them but for the pulse xt and non xt they only had like 300 for MSRP which are being sold at 100 batches at a time, after that they go up in price.
