That would appear to be the case but when you look at the performance it paints a different picture. The 5070ti is a cut down 580 so is a true 70 class card of course the real price is stupid.

just paid 745 for a gigabyte aorus elite 9070 xt was I robbed? I can still cancel it.
The base RRP for the 9070 XT is £570, so £745 is crazy.just paid 745 for a gigabyte aorus elite 9070 xt was I robbed? I can still cancel it.

I liked the look of the nonXT but the small difference in price to the XT made me think I should go for the XT. The way the order process went today meant that I ended up with the non XT anyway and I am very happy with that outcome. The 9070 seems more impressive to me than the XT. The power draw is vastly better, way more efficient. If they were £499 they would be THE card of the year IMO.
Yeah that's way too muchjust paid 745 for a gigabyte aorus elite 9070 xt was I robbed? I can still cancel it.
Yes, your part of the problem.just paid 745 for a gigabyte aorus elite 9070 xt was I robbed? I can still cancel it.

Yeah that's way too much
yeah but the real rrp is £620 not £570 as once the £50 rebate goes away it's gonna be £620 so it should really be RRP of £620 with a launch discount of £50 for the first X customersYes, your part of the problem.
So £620 is as much as you should pay.yeah but the real rrp is £620 not £570 as once the £50 rebate goes away it's gonna be £620 so it should really be RRP of £620 with a launch discount of £50 for the first X customers
Yay, I got one, and only paid £569.99I'm tired of waiting now! I want my £600 radeon flavoured 4080!
I had to fight myself not to go for the XT too and have a non-XT Pulse order confirmed.I liked the look of the nonXT but the small difference in price to the XT made me think I should go for the XT. The way the order process went today meant that I ended up with the non XT anyway and I am very happy with that outcome.
The efficiency tests almost suggest that the non XT is the base card operating at the sweet spot and the XT is an overclocked version rather than the no XT being a cut down version. It would be interesting to see how the XT would perform at the non XT frequency but with its extra cores.
Yeah, I think two people were looking at it at the same time...Got a XFX MERCURY 9070XT OC 3100MHZ rgb for £699. Yes it's more than rrp but I had a 5090 before this, and I like the design. Sorry OC, I did try ordering from you but the website totally crashed!
Yes, your part of the problem.
