*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

I fear for UDNA since this is when I will upgrade. I'm so happy I snagged a 4070s for £520 a month ago. I would've been sitting here crying and staring at my PC parts without a GPU.
I at least have a 7800xt which is decent for the price I paid. Playing all my games happily but wanted a bit more RT oomph. Nice to have but not essential.

How did you lose £200?

order a while ago, I ordered a couple of mouse mats and that's it. Mouse mats arrived.

Moved house, didn't check paperwork / bank details as did lots of stuff money going in and out, mortage etc so really busy.

Recently logged in checked order history, and for some reason there is a AOC monitor in the order. Never ordered it.

So basically paid for something that I didn't order

Sorry mate. Could you do a chargeback with your card provider?.

Probably already asked but if OCUK had over 1000 Saphire Pulse 9070 XT why have only 20+ sold today?

Yeh i posed this question earlier.

A lot of the MSRP ones have very small sold numbers. Not sure if its a glitch or whether hardly any have actually been released for sale.

Cancelled my 5080 pre-order at the other place and got myself a 9070xt here today instead. The whole 5000 series launch fiasco took all the excitement for a new card from me. Sticking with AMD for this gen and seeing what NVIDIA will do next gen. Coming from a 3080 so I am at least getting an uplift for far less money than what I would have paid otherwise.

I really feel like NVIDIA can not be bothered with the gaming market anymore.

Gibbo said yesterday that demand for the Nitro and Taichi looked incredible. And these are the models that sold the most today.
It makes no sense that there would be highest demand for the £700 cards.

Something doesn't add up.

Nice saving cash wise that. £600?

Which just goes to show that once again there was a GPU launch without nearly enough stock...
Are you really blaming AMD for unprecedented demand, scalpers and a worldwide launch? OcUK alone said they had thousands, it sounds to me like there were huge numbers UK/Europe/Worldwide, just not enough to meet the unprecedented demand.
