*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Christmas in March! Initial impression. This card is great! First, it weights probably half what my 6900XT does and it's a good 30FPS faster in synthetics. Can't hear the fans at all.

But more importantly no Haribo ? :(

does it come with a GPU support?
I had trouble finding info about that. The Sapphire ones do and I think one of the Gigabyte's do (the more expensive one).

There is Haribo

No included GPU support. Honestly you do not need it. It's what I would consider a light/med card. Definitely not heavy.

It's only 'better' on the barbed wiring at the top. The rest of the scene is overly sharpened. I know some people think this looks 'good' or 'more detailed' but that's not really the case. The DLSS 4 Transformer model also has unnatural over sharpening issues. You can see it on the HZD footage.

DLSS sucks with respect to ghosting and lines around moving objects. We need to see how RDN4 shapes up. Swings and round-abouts in the end; we need more testing.

And its arrived and in.

Sapphire 9700 XT Nitro+ - its sizeable !

https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/127558212 - I assume that will work for you folks. Zero tuning just ran DDU, latest drivers, All I've done in Bios is XMP for my C28 RAM :)
Nice!
Here's mine. Also with a 7800x3d. There only thing I've done is enable the custom fan curve with default settings. Fans at 2200rpm are audible, but only light background noise.

I've seen a few screenshots where FSR4 looks better, but I did also wonder if they had to spend ages going through videos frame by frame to find a bit where FSR4 looked better (cuz some people are probably that desperate to make one side look better than the other).

Really doesn't matter anymore, if they are struggling to find much difference then its a big win in my book, finally get rid of that FSR fizz.

Is it just me or does FSR 4 look better in this shot?

The screenshot was taken from the same video I linked so not cherry picked. It's a snapshot of a moving scene.
If you watch the video, the reviewer explains each scene and which is better at what. In the shot I posted, FSR4 is better at resolving the barbed wire but DLSS4 has slightly sharper background textures. DLSS4 actually has more ghosting/occlusion fizzle during motion. This is in performance mode which is pretty amazing for FSR4.
Generally I would say, FSR4 is more than acceptable for anyone who has become accustomed to DLSS. I have a 3080FE and would have no issues with switching to FSR4.

My powercolor 9070 xt red devil is probably coming Monday but I need to wait for a block to swap it out with my 6800xt. Alphacool are being stingy with information on which blocks they are designing, just one public for the Asrock xt oc

Well, after failing to get anything in the uk yesterday, I was hesitant to buy the nitro at £700, as a 23% price hike over msrp for an 11% performance increase didn't seem great(think i read it was about that over stock)...now that the base cards are £630, the difference was 11% for 11% gain...then the nitro has gone up as well to £720, and out of stock....so started looking locally...not exactly as felt welcome being blocked by cloudflare all afternoon
Most shops in Dubai have no listings for a 9070 at all, directing you to 7800xt or 6900xt(not even 7900xt). Cheapest 5070ti by way was $1325....anyway, after a lot of trawling found a small pc shop in AbuDhabi that has 3 Sapphire nitro+, so lifted package of that and a 9800x3d for $1420 which work out around £1100 give or take. They had a pulse but it was $60 less or £46...for that price went with the nitro
I'm a little bit nervous not having heard of them but quick scout on reddit, they seem to be leggit...had a whatsapp message showing order go through and delivery tomorrow....seeing is believing though as most of time the 9800x3d has been north of £500 here. Maybe a ramadan offer
so fingers crossed. be nice to move on from playing 4k with a 3070ti, that's for sure (if it gets here  )

Very nice. Straight 50%+ higher than my tweaked mobile 4080 *which is essentially a downclocked 175W 4070ti with theoretically some reasonably binned silicon*.

Can't complain at that for a midrange card!
