Ordered the 9070 Pulse this morning at 11:45, and I got the dispatch at 16:33. Can't really fault that.

So the MRSPs are only for first x units ? Doesn't that make - no matter the manufacturer a mockery of reviews ?

Where does it end ? Could sell way the first 100 units of a high end av amplifier at cost price say 50% off just to receive amazing value for money reviews ?

With graphics cards why not make the delta even higher ?.say next round sell.firat number of units at a loss just for the reviews ?

According to Frank Azor they're going to try and "encourage" some aibs to deliver cards at msrp.

did you happen to see your order status go from confirmed to picking? Ordered last night at 10:14 but ended up with next working day shipping (just wanted to get the order through xD)

Well as you can see from the before posts, The scalpers are buying from OCUK and are even in this forum no doubt gathering all the info from it. If you want to stop the scalping "which Im sure you do" anything is worth a go or maybe you dont agree. Either way at least you would know were they are being bought from. Scalpers use bots to buy the cards.

I think the whole MSRP thing is a bit shady in general. I wanted to make the purchased based off the reviews and they were at the MSRP, but then in reality that's only limited to how much AMD want to rebate the sellers. I know its been mentioned that the are looking it for further sales "MSRP pricing (excluding region specific tariffs and/or taxes) will continue to be encouraged beyond today so don't despair." but encouraging and telling are 2 different things and I'd like to hope some reviews perhaps are updated in light of the limited pricing.

I don't understand how knowing it was purchased from OCUK does anything to stop people from scalping, and personally I'd rather not have a non removable ugly sticker on the box for no reason.

Then just let the scalpers take over the market and let most people on launch day wait 10hrs and not get the cards. It happened here but maybe you have a better idea. Im all ears...

These cards look long. Trying to see which one if any is likely to fit in a mini itx board and case. It's gonna be tight if doable.

Realistically there is nothing you can do to stop people from scalping if there's a supply shortage, even regular buyers who intended to use it will be tempted to resell if someone else is willing to pay significantly more than they bought it for. The solution would be to improve supply on launch day.
