Rugby union?

I love the way the ref keeps shouting 'retreat'.

Pointless. That's all the French have done for centuries

Yes, the yellow should absolutely be a red.

Re the great try that wasn't. I did think it went into touch, but when play was carried on, I thought it might've been a trick of the camera angle.

Frustrating that they waited to check it as it happened very early in the play.

Well I think that's over unfortunately, closer game than I thought it would have been.

England have been pretty good overall, hopefully they'll just get stronger. Should be a lot of English players in The Lions too!

How many forward passes will this ref let Scotland get away with?

All answers point to 'all of them'

Watching South African schoolboy tournaments, it's crazy how good level of rugby is at schools. Really think it's the reason South African national team has been so successful last 10 years or so.

Perpignan stay in the French Top 14, beating Grenoble 11-13. Damned sight more exciting than it needed to be. Gonna see what the locals make of it next month when I head that way.

I'll be honest I haven't watched the Lions series it does nothing for me anymore. But seeing that Jac Morgan clear out I can see why the Aussies are upset. Both Lions forwards straight to the floor after a dubious clear out of a fair jackal. Not as bad as Romaine Poitre engineering a draw between New Zealand and the Lions and rewriting the Laws to suit but definitely the benefit of the doubt firmly in the Lions favour.

Last Saturday AM was an amazing game..

As I said I don't watch the Lions but another YT vid came up about last weekends match regarding Dan Sheehan's superman dive try, do I not like that. I accept it is perfectly legal under the current laws but if that catches on their will be some nasty injuries because some idiot will get it wrong and send their head right into a brick wall shaped forward. It reminds me of the utterly reckless kick chase jumpers who put themselves in remarkably at risk positions and then it's everyone else's fault if they misjudge or can't get out of the way. Definitely not questioning the legality but that really doesn't feel like a road we want to go down.

Australia did the Job this weekend, not remotely mad, but it was a sloppy game in terms of discipline for us. However, I'd say they deserved the win. James Ryan's knockout blow was a tough watch. Glad he's ok.
