What watch do you wear?

Today i've been wearing my yellow, solar charged, G-Shock 2100. This is all the watch anyone needs ! :)
I had a few 2100's, really like them, but for some strange reason they took my wrist out in a rash :( Doesn't happen with the other non 2100's I've got.

After having to get used to some minor software things ( e.g. not syncing DND status from phone as opposed to Xiaomi watches) I absolutely love my Huami Amazfit GTR2.

Lasts almost a full week without charging, i can swim with it no problem, always on display, many watch faces, pretty good activity and sleep tracking, and it's relatively thin so I don't even take it off for climbing 3x per week! Also the physical buttons are a godsend, why don't all smartwatches have them is beyond me.

Never been a fan of apple watches. Unusual screen display though. Do you press a button and you get to see the time? :p
Sorted now, my SSK029K1 isn't working, is it worth sending it off to be looked at?, I'm guessing the money Seiko may charge it might not be.
Are there any recommendations for repairs on lower end watches?, I've tried manually winding it and shaking it, looked like the second hand was wanting to move now it doesn't even do that.

I've just watched a video suggesting maybe the rotor could be loose and may just need tightening down, maybe i'll grab a cheap tool kit and have a try.

Do you know any local independent jewellers? They may be able to take a look at it and they would charge for any parts plus their own time. Exactly the same as what Seiko would do but I'd think at a cheaper price.

E.g my local jeweller did a full service on a 100yr old pocket watch and charged me 100quid. Is it more than the watch itself? Most likely but it was my granddad's so I was going to pay it. Equally I also gave the guy one of my longines watches to sort an issue but there was a parts block so he had to send it to longines regardless and I was charged 300quid. The watch was bought for 800. Servicing will be pricier but if you're happy to pay it it'll extend the watches life rather than being consigned to the bin.

Just find/google a local watch repair shop? It's a Seiko not a rolex so the majority should be able to do it.

I don't think there are any still about.

If you're feeling brave, you don't need expensive tools to replace the movement yourself (NH34, which costs about £50, less from AliX).

Yes, if this doesn't work i'll do that, it doesn't sound the same as my working Black grape one when i shake it.

If all you need is a watch in a colour that looks completely ridiculous on any mans wrist that is not in fancy dress as a bumblebee then yes I agree with your statement. :D

There are places online too in the UK that you can send your watch to, do a google.

I was referring to the G-Shock 2100 watch - it's available in many colours & materials, and for £100 (always reduced) it's great !

I wouldn't feed the trolls....

I think it looks great. I've got G-Shocks in black and bright red, but am tempted by a yellow now!

Had to send my Google Pixel Watch 3 back for a replacement. Unfortunately the battery in my Skagen has died so I need to replace it. Any ideas how I can get the back off? As you can see I've already tried!

The first one is the 'proper' tool

Or if you're really feeling flush one of these

Nice to see a drops in prices in the second hand market.

Is 36mm too small for a 8" wrist? - I am quite tempted by a Green croc strap Day Date, but worried it may look a bit dainty.
I can't get why the 40mm day dates are like 3-4x in price, I also find the all gold ones (inc bracelet) a bit too much.
